Fred Di Blasio
Fred is a proud member of the Huron-Wendat Nation and Co-Founder, Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Longhouse Capital Partners.
Prior to co-founding Longhouse, Fred served as Executive Vice President for Nch’Kay Development Corporation, the economic development arm of the Squamish Nation ($1.4 billion Sen̓áḵw Development). Fred is an experienced executive with a proven track record at AT&T, TELUS and INVIDI Technologies ($300M exit) with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions (over $100 billion of deals), corporate development and marketing.
Prior to co-founding Longhouse, Fred served as Executive Vice President for Nch’Kay Development Corporation, the economic development arm of the Squamish Nation ($1.4 billion Sen̓áḵw Development). Bernd Christmas
Bernd is a proud member of the Membertou Band of Nova Scotia and a Partner at Longhouse Capital Partners. He is a recognized and accomplished leader in the Indigenous and business communities with more than 30 years of experience in mergers, acquisitions and law. Bernd is currently an Advisory Council member of the McLean Day Schools Settlement Corporation.
Prior to joining Longhouse, Bernd served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Nch’Kay Development Corporation, the economic development arm of the Squamish Nation. Prior to his role at Nch’Kay, Bernd was the Managing Partner of the Bernd Christmas Law Group, specializing in corporate and commercial law as well as Indigenous Peoples law. As an Indigenous lawyer, former Chief Executive Officer of the Membertou Band of Nova Scotia and as a negotiator for several First Nations bands, Bernd brings a deep understanding of Indigenous perspectives as well as extensive experience on national and international boards and commissions. Other significant experience includes the Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel of Gitpo Storms Corporation, a Partner at the law firm of Cassels Brock LLP, the position of Senior Vice-President and National Aboriginal Practice Leader at Hill & Knowlton Canada and several former board positions, including with Investors Group, Canada Post Pension Plan, Niagara Health, Paskwayak Business Development Corp., and Canada China Business Council. Bernd is the former Chairman and President of Outside Looking In.

Christian Sinclair
Christian is a proud member of the Opaskwayak Cree and a Partner at Longhouse Capital Partners. He is an experienced negotiator and project leader for resource development projects serving both Indigenous communities and corporations.
Prior to joining Longhouse, Christian accumulated a wealth of experience on the battlefield, in corporate boardrooms and First Nation Council Chambers. Christian was elected Onekanew (Chief) of the Opaskwayak Cree Nation. During his term as Chief (2016-2021), he adopted and implemented finance and governance standards which resulted in the Opaskwayak Cree Nation achieving the First Nation Financial Board Certification. Christian was President and CEO of Christian Sinclair Inc from 2013 to 2016 serving as an advisor and negotiator for multiple First Nation clients. He was the Director of Development, Marketing and Promotion from 2006 to 2013 for Cree Construction Development Company as well as the Board of Compensation and Cree Regional Development.
In 2003, Christian was named as one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40. He co-founded the Manitoba Indigenous Summer Games in 1998 and served as General Manager for the North American Indigenous Games in 2002. Christian proudly served, with distinction, in the Canadian Airborne Regiment from 1988-1995 and was honorably discharged from military service after completing tours for peacekeeping in Cyprus and Somalia.

Paul Cugno
Paul is a Co-Founder, Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Longhouse Capital Partners. He is a seasoned leveraged finance professional based in New York with expertise in the origination, structuring and documentation of debt transactions in both the public and private markets.
Prior to co-founding Longhouse, Paul successfully built and led global origination and credit structuring teams over a 25 year career as Head of Energy, Power and Renewables Leveraged Finance at Jefferies from 2017 to 2022 and Head of Consumer/Retail and Natural Resources Leveraged Finance at Barclays and Lehman Brothers from 2000 to 2016. He began his banking career as an Associate in Leveraged Finance at Scotiabank. He has a successful track record leading more than 400 transactions raising in excess of $200 billion of debt capital for complex financings in support of LBOs, public and private acquisitions, recapitalizations, refinancings, growth capital expenditures and restructurings. He worked as a Project Coordinator and Project Manager for Bird Construction Company from 1989 to 1995.

Kelly Marshall
Kelly is a Partner at Longhouse Capital Partners. He is a seasoned executive with 25 years of experience in real estate and infrastructure. Kelly is based in Toronto and acts as an advisor to institutions in Canada and the United States.
Prior to joining Longhouse, Kelly served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Ontario Municipal Employee Retirement System (‘‘OMERS’’) where he led the growth of infrastructure and real estate strategic equity partnerships.
Before joining OMERS, Kelly served as Head of Corporate Finance at Brookfield Asset Management. In this capacity, he was responsible for the global corporate finance activities in each of Brookfield’s core business lines. During his 16 year career at Brookfield, Kelly led real estate, renewable power and infrastructure transactions across North and South America, Europe, UK, Australia and India.
Kelly currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Granite REIT, a C$7 billion industrial and logistics company that is listed on the TSX and NYSE. He also currently holds board and investment committee positions with Red Funnel Ferries Limited, Onex Falcon, Power Sustainable Lios and Pomerleau Capital.
Kelly earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Wilfred Laurier University and holds an ESG Global Competent Boards Designation.

Corinne Pruzanski
Corinne is legal advisor at Longhouse Capital Partners. She is an experienced business lawyer and senior executive with over 25 years of experience acting as legal advisor to institutional clients in Canada and the United States..
Most recently Corinne was the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and part of the executive management team for Canadian Apartment Properties REIT (CAPREIT), a TSX60 company, with assets in Canada, the Netherlands and Ireland. During her 11 years at CAPREIT, Corinne ran transactions increasing the company’s assets under management from $3 billion to $17 billion, structuring market-leading expansion into Europe, and overseeing equity raises over $1.6 billion..
Prior to CAPREIT, Corinne was a Partner in the Real Estate and Energy groups at Stikeman Elliott LLP, a national law firm, where she advised on billions of dollars in real estate investment and renewable energy projects. Corinne joined Stikeman Elliott in 2004 after practicing at Paul Hastings and Weil Gotshal and Manges in New York from 1997-2004.
Corinne earned a Bachelor of Arts from York University, a Bachelor of Law from the University of British Columbia and an ICD.D from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Corinne is licensed to practice law in Ontario and New York.

Michael Policinski
Mike is a Co-Founder and a Partner at Longhouse Capital Partners.
Prior to joining Longhouse, Mike was a Vice President on the Leveraged Finance team at Barclays where he led deal teams responsible for sourcing and executing leveraged loan and high yield bond offerings for publicly traded and private equity-owned companies. His expertise includes credit analysis, structuring and negotiation of non-investment grade debt offerings in support of refinancings, dividend recapitalizations, growth projects, M&A and LBO transactions. Prior to Barclays, Mike began his career at Lazard, working in middle market M&A advisory with primary responsibility for developing valuation views and managing due diligence processes in support of middle market M&A transactions.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics, with a concentration in financial markets, from Colby College where he was a member of the varsity ice hockey team. Mike also earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

Yanick Blanchard
Yanick is an experienced executive with a 20+ year track-record in the finance sector. Prior to joining Longhouse, Yanick most recently served as Executive Vice-President, Managing Director and Global Head of Corporate & Investment Banking for National Bank of Canada where he was responsible for overseeing all of investment banking, M&A, credit capital markets and loan structuring & syndication activities. He was also a member of National Bank’s Financial Markets Executive Committee and Chair of the Capital Allocation Committee. At National Bank, Yanick led a team of over 250 professionals based in Calgary, Montreal, New York, Toronto and Vancouver, and spearheaded the implementation of National Bank’s corporate strategy for the delivery of integrated service offerings for all corporate clients. Yanick currently serves as a member of the board and chair of the audit committee at Medical Facilities Corporation (TSX:DR). Yanick holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and a bachelor's degree in finance from HEC Montreal University.

Martin Cauchon
Martin is of counsel at DS Lawyers Canada LLP and is a former federal politician from Québec, Canada. Martin was first elected to political office in October 1993 in the federal riding of Outremont, Québec. Throughout his distinguished political career, he has held many pivotal cabinet positions, including Secretary of State (Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Québec) from January 1996 to January 2002, Minister of National Revenue from August 1999 to January 2002, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada from January 2002 to December 2003, as well as Minister with political responsibility for Québec during that same period. Martin is the Vice-Chair of the Canada-China Business Council and is a member of numerous boards of directors.
Christine Kennedy
Christine is President of Woodfibre LNG and has more than 25 years experience in senior management roles in the natural resource sector, government, and international market development. As President of Woodfibre LNG, Christine leads a team developing the Woodfibre LNG Project, a single train, liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility that is currently under construction. Of note, Woodfibre LNG is the only industrial project in Canada to have received an environmental approval from an Indigenous government in the absence of a treaty. Woodfibre LNG Limited is a privately held Canadian company based in Vancouver, and a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Corporation (Canada) Limited.
Mark Kenney
Mark joined Canadian Apartment Properties REIT (CAPREIT), a TSX listed company, in 1998. CAPREIT’s portfolio consists of over 67,500 residential rental units and land lease sites across Canada, and the Netherlands. With over 28 years of experience in the multi-family sector and as President and Chief Executive Officer, Mark is actively involved in creating and implementing company policy, directing the property management team, and oversight of the marketing, procurement, development and acquisitions departments. Mark has ultimate responsibility over all of CAPREIT’s operations in Canada and Europe, including CAPREIT’s portfolio in the Netherlands.
Walt Jackson
Walt is a special advisor, private credit, for Longhouse Capital Partners and has more than 30 years of experience in the leveraged loan, high-yield and mezzanine financing markets. Most recently Walt was Head of Direct Lending, Portfolio Manager and a member of the Investment Committee at Onex Credit where he successfully established and led the firm’s direct lending platform. Prior to joining Onex, Walt served as Chief Operating Officer of the Private Credit Group and Senior Credit Officer of Goldman Sachs’ Merchant Banking Division (“MBD”), a provider of senior loan and mezzanine solutions for corporate borrowers. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Walt served in various senior origination and structuring roles in Leveraged Finance for over a decade at Credit Suisse First Boston and The Bank of Nova Scotia. Over 35 years, Walt arranged, structured and invested more than $150 billion across large cap and middle market private equity buyouts and large corporate merger transactions.
Anne-Marie Thomas
With over 25 years experience in the financial services industry, Anne-Marie Thomas brings expertise in strategy development, governance innovation, finance & audit, enterprise risk management and capital markets. C-suite and board experience in the public and private sectors has contributed to insight and impact for a range of organizations.
Anne-Marie has extensive experience as a Corporate Director and serves currently as an Independent Director with Nicola Wealth, Vice Chair of the Ontario Hospital Association Legacy Fund, and Director and past Risk Committee and Governance Committee Chair with DUCA Financial Services Credit Union. Past Board experience includes Director and Chair of Investment and Audit Committees with The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group and Audit Committee member for the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games.
Anne-Marie has been certified with the Institute of Corporate Directors, the Directors College and the Innovation Governance Program (Council of Canadian Innovators), and earned the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) designation. In the community Anne-Marie enjoys volunteering with and is a proud supporter of Habitat for Humanity.
